In the past, through all my adventures for good causes, I have worked with a variety of brands and some I have had repeated partnerships with. Categories of brands I have worked with are corporates, clothing and retail, accommodation providers, nutrition, restaurants, hotels, kit and equipment providers, charities and NGOs, educational institutions, travel companies, car companies, website and graphic designers, and photographers/videographers and many more! See examples below.

Pioneer and Expert of multiple regions

Throughout my exploits around the world I have been tracking my routes using my sponsor Komoot for my JOGLE bike packing adventure in 2020. I have become a pioneer and expert through sharing my knowledge and expertise in a region related to various different sports (hiking, bike packing, road cycling, kayaking, open water swimming, SUP, mountain fell running and others).

”From a young age I have always dreamed of visiting Antarctica, because of its raw environmental beauty. As I have grown wiser i now understand the Antarctica global importance and economic connotations in a world heavily focused on tackling climate change… It is the bottom of the world where all lines of longitude converge (quick hello to all Flat Earth believers). Humans aren’t designed to be there, it the coldest, windiest and driest continent on the planet as well as completely remote making it very dangerous. It is one of the seven continents and offers the opportunity to see 1st hand experience of climate change on a massive scale. As an explorer I see myself challenging the expedition to get to the South Pole just like Norwegian explorer Ronald Amundsen did.”

I like a lightweight backpack for a quick day trip outing on the trails and partnering with Gregory seemed the perfect fit. Each backpack has a simple design philosophy which makes them very comfortable and super reliable.

Why I use Gregory Backpacks?

It comes down to their motto “backpacks should be carried not worn”. There unique fit geometry and customized chassis technologies make each pack feel like an extension of my body, effortless carrying.

During my journey into all the remote places in the outdoors I found that I wasn’t taking care of my skin very well. The harsh winds and salt from the sea on a hot day would create havoc. Helm Wind has a solution to this and I have been using their creams and chaffing sticks ever since I found out about them.

What I like most about the Helm Wind is how sustainably sourced and ethical it is. Being handmade in the Lake District and also it is a vegan product with 100% recyclable packaging it has zero waste potential and is great for the planet!

As part of my move into the polar regions I partnered with Sling Fin who design the strongest mountaineering tents, backpacking tents, and ultralight tents in the world.

Why I use Sling Fin tents?

They can stand up to the elements that extend well beyond the high alpine and have a high strength-to-weight ratio with extremely durable materials and and unmatched tensile structures. Although they are expensive they are a long-term investment that you won’t get anywhere else.

As a seasoned hiker and backpacker looking to move into the polar regions I partnered with Nomad Outdoor and have been testing their warm merino wool socks, a 70cl hiking bag and 2 sleeping bags for sleeping in sub-zero temperatures which to my delight have made my adventures far more comfortable and durable thanks to the partnership.

#IAMNOMAD

I align with Nomad’s philosophy having traveled far over many adventures I have learned the value of human companionship and how it enriches our travels. Memories of joy and togetherness we share on a journey often linger longer in our memories than the countless snapshots collected along the road.

Soto Stoves

Brand Ambassador and Technical Reviewer

During my transition to polar adventuring I was looking for a partner with exceptional “Blue Flame” technology for cooking in extreme cold and chilling winds. The brand of Soto is Japanese and renowned for providing the highest safety and technical standards at all phases of production, resulting in an enhanced outdoor experience.

SOTO means “Outdoors” in Japanese.

As a seasoned hiker and backpacker who regularly takes on bike packing adventures I am always looking out for the best lightweight small tents on the market for minimalist adventuring and in my search I partnered with Sierra Designs and now test their ultra lightweight one-man tents that are almost a bivvy size. To my delight the tents have made my adventures far more comfortable and easy thanks to the partnership.

I completely align with their philosophy that outdoor adventure should be for everyone which I try to voice using my outdoor time motivation.
